Building an email list can also help you make money. How can you build an email list? This is a question asked by both new and seasoned email marketers.

A successful email marketing campaign can make you lots of money, but you need an email list packed with genuine prospects to do this. Your email marketing strategy will fail if you’re not able to build an email list like this.

There are various ways to build an ideal email list and one of these is paid advertising. You can also build an email list without spending anything. A simple blog can help you get more people to join your list. To do this, you need to send your email to your list every day. You then need to re-write that email and add more “meat” to it. This version of your email, however, won’t be sent to your list. You need to upload the meatier version to your blog.

People don’t want to read something that would take up a lot of their time. If you send a meatier version of your email to them, chances are they won’t even read it. You need to entertain them and provide them with something they would find valuable. They should be able to find what they need fast. The people on your email list already have an idea about you and what your blog is all about, so you don’t have to explain a lot.

Web users who visit your blog, however, will be expecting more content. This is particularly true for those who are visiting your blog for the first time. If you don’t give it to them, they will stop reading and leave your site right away. You don’t want this to happen. Your blog should convince them to stay, not drive them away.

It is also important to keyword optimize your blog post. This will give your blog post more chances of appearing high in the search results pages. Maybe you are already driving traffic to your site. You now need to convince people to join your email list after reading your posts. There are actually two ways to do this. First, you can put an opt-in box below your blog post. After reading your post, visitors will naturally see the opt-in box and hopefully they will be convinced to give their email address to you.

Another way to persuade readers to join your email list is sending them a page that is optimized for getting their email address. The same call-to-action used in your email will be kept. However, instead of sending them to the sales letters, your readers will be sent to a page that’s specifically designed for gathering email addresses. The separate page should tell them the benefits of joining your email list. You should also provide an ethical bribe in exchange for their email address. The bribe should be given for free. It is like a reward given to people for joining your list.

A free report that provides a solution to a certain problem faced by your market is one example of this ethical bribe. Understanding your market to know what would attract them would help you determine the best ethical bribe to give.

Using your blog to collect a lot of email addresses is just one of the best ways to build an email list. Aside from this, it is also free. So, you don’t need to worry about spending anything.
